I loved "Meet the Parents". So, I went into this movie eager to see a funny sequel. And, I left the theater somewhat satisfied and disappointed at the same time. Meet the Fockers is funny, yes. However, it's clearly not as fresh and original as, well, the original. They rely too heavily upon toilet humor for cheap laughs. And, a couple scenes left me repulsed rather than amused. There is another "dinner" scene involving a body part--I won't give it away. Let's just say things get a little stiff...lol


neway...Barbara Streisand was the savior of this flick. I had no idea she could be so funny or was that great of an actress.


I give Meet the Fockers 2 1/2 stars. If you were a fan of the first one, you will be slightly disappointed with the sequel.

^^^ haha agreed..... but anyways, u can kinda tell from the previews that it wasnt gonna be as good..... same thing with blade........ but the reason i loved meet the parents was all the scenes where u wanna turn off the movie cuz u see how badly he is about to fuck up, and i hope that was in this one.... that was the best parts for me in the original
