Blood spills, dreams unfulfilled,all was shattered to pieces when others crossed my path
Snatched from my grasp, I lost hope but a certain art seemed to have brought me back
Hip Hop was introduced to me, usually I despised music but I couldn't lay off of rap
Mc-ing became a hobby, hobby became passion, and eventually passion became love
Colleagues found me crazy, stereotypes made 'em believe I needed cash, fame and drugs
Not realizing that TV's full of lies and gimmicks, most mc's are clowns and fake thugs
Giving Hip Hop a bad name, making it a positive thing for one to get hit by a slug
No one saw my originality, No one could see Hip Hop was in me blood through marrow
Y'all doubted my talent until my words pierced your skin like a hundred bows and arrows
Hate always came, beef was always on but in the end I always brought my foes to peril
