For those that have read it, what are your feelings about the content? Like/Dislike? I'm just interested in how people are taking the "controversial" book.

If you haven't read it, go check it out.

But, first you may want to read Angels and Demons, as it is the prequel. Both books are by Dan Brown.

Dan Brown = A professional author.

I understand that. It's hard to consider/follow/be interested in a book where you don't believe in the big things that the Catholic church preach.

But anyway, it is fairly obvious to me that Da Vinci thought one of the apostles was a woman, in the painting it is nearly impossible to interpret what the Catholic church says is John to be a man. It's clearly a woman.

i duno, it made me think about things but it didnt really disprove religion tho. sum of the theories were waaaaayyyy out there makin it seem like they were pickin out everything jus to be controversial, like the way the disciples are positioned at the table indicates a V shape which is sposed to represent femininity!!!!??..............Blah!

I don't think its that controversial, but then again we listen to hip hop. I'm not shure if he did in fact conceive a child with MAry, but the scriptures uncovered in Egypt may have been false. Some French guy is also reputed to have made up and planted the Priory of Scion records, listing Da Vinci and co as headmasters, so he could claim he was Jesus descendants. There is no pssible way to seperate fact from fiction now.

i jus started reading it n omg its saying some of the exact same shit ive been saying since i was younger...it doesnt make sense that god would want woman, the carrier of life, to suffer and be thought of as "original sin" it all seems as a coverup....i love this book if u havent read it go see it before the movie comes out all distorted n kills the book
