if you're like me, you think of the original "The Sandlot" movie as a classic, it's personally my favorite movie of all time. Anyway, the new one is supposed to be 10 years later with a new group of kids...the team only consists of 6 players (one being the fat kid from "Bad Santa" playing the catcher nicknamed Ham)...they end up having three girls on the team....i could go on but meh, i dont wanna...anyways, i bought the dvd in hopes that it would add to the classic feeling of the movie..in the end, it was not even close...the actors are all shitty, basically the stupid girls just sucked, and it was much harder to identify with the characters because they really didnt let you get a feel for them at all...
the sequel could have done one of two things with it's shittiness: 1. ruined The Sandlot legacy, or 2. make the first one seem even better luckily, i found it did the latter of the two....... in conclusion, if you have seen this movie, tell me what you think, and if not, never waste your money renting it, or buying like i regrettably did... Note: i bought the original and the sequel together for 25 bucks...and IMO, it was worth it because i find the original to be worth at LEAST that much

good ol' sandlot, havn't seen that in ages.....is that the one where they hit the ball over the fence or whatever, and there's a big dog and they think the old man who owns the dog is evil or something but he turns out good?
if so, that is a classic flick
