Battles up Monday - Check In by Wednesday - Drop by Friday - Votes by Sunday
No line limit and the battler with most votes by Sunday night is the winner. If this is a topical battle, write a topical and not a poetic drop and the same is vice a versa. All Battlers must vote on 4 other battles and leave their voting links in their battle thread. Battles voted on may be from either poetry or topical battles. If vote threads aren't in your poetry battle thread by sunday you will suffer a loss by Disqualification. Extensions must be asked for by Thursday night by pming any of the mods (Acuity, Drama Queen & Elementality). No extensions will be given 4 if asked 4 on Friday night. Extensions are only given till Sunday night at the most. If you dont ask for an extention, and drop whenever you feel like it you will be Disqualified. Do not abuse extentions, they are not to be used if you're just too lazy to drop within the confines of the circumstances. Leave reasonable explanation for your absense. If the League notices you are a slacker due to this nature you will be banned for being out-right slothfully callous. Every battler must nominate (not their own) one topical and poetry battle for pieces of the week, in the main forum . People with pieces of the week shall have their drops stickied and placed in the Pieces Of Inspiration sub forum Don't ho-show because you will be banned if you do it twice. We can understand you cannot drop due to certain circumstances but if this happens a second time, you're banned from the league for 2 weeks. If you signed up for both leagues and you no-show in one league twice, you will be banned in both leagues! Try to limit the freeposts, we will have a chat/beef thread for that. ok this was a good topical but hnic had a little more thought into his work dont get me wrong both did their thing hnic just brung more creativity more content and the words and how he described it just brought more of a picture in my mind.
and this line was the best i liked from him "At that exact moment air careened thru John's throat He came back alive...Revitalized..cuz..HOPE FLOATS" so ican tell what he's thinkin and what he ahs in his mind both did a great job but my vote goes to hnic

Propain- your drop lacked depth and emotion....i felt that you concentrated to much on gettin the vocab right....which meant that it became a bit boring mid-way.....
H-N-I-C- your drop was filled with emotion and i really felt the creativity of your verse....you told the story well and it had depth and meaning to it....... my vote- H-N-I-C

Propain- Man You verse was good it just flowed. I didnt really feel that much emotion in the post. You had some nice lines N my favorite was da last too on the train of thought.You dont need to elevate you just gotta put more emotion into it. I just wasnt feelin the emotion the way HNIC had it.
H-N-I-C: Yo man you had a nice verse. Everything was on point. Concept,story, emotion, flow..........everything went well together. Every line i was feelin aint nuffin threw me off. While i was readin it it was like i was actully livin it. Propain- 7/10 H-N-I-C- 9/10 Nice drops to both people. Propain just work on emotion N H-N-I-C just keep doin ya thang

WOW at yall voting for H-N-I-C on this one
Propain took it in every category IMO His verse had more emotion and feeling to it, which is good enough for the win right there alone, and I feel that he used better vocab or atleast did a good job with what he used. Imagery was great, and your verse had alot of depth to it. I was no doubt feeling it. H-N-I-C, your verse lacked both vocab and emotion in my eyes. It seemed to plain, and came across to me as boring. Try upping your vocabulary a bit, and being a little more creative. V/ {Propain}
