Military members in Oahu, Hawaii got a special treat last weekend when Snoop performed a concert for 8,000 troops and their families.

The concert was part of a charity event sponsored by the sports and wagering company, Bodog Entertainment Group, called “Bodog Salutes the Troops: A Tribute to American Heroes.” The gala took place at the Waikiki Shell from July 22-23 and also featured comedy shows featuring Colin Quinn, Paul Rodriguez, and Wanda Sykes, along with Carson Daly.

“It's a beautiful feeling to be appreciated and come out and give the troops something to smile about and something to dance to,” said Snoop of the event. “I'm down to do it again whenever, however, forever, all the time.”

The festivities brought together service men and women from the Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Army.
