Right, well when you see conversations about some of the absolute best battlers on the site, you would be hard to find one that doesn't include 9th Degree. In battles the guy was a monster. From the early days when he was known as The Kid P_Dizzle he was flooring everyone he came up against. He was known for his unique style that incorporated some of the dopest wordplay into some of the most cleverly worded and most hilarious punches you would ever see. Through his many battles, he never backed down from anyone and the long list of some of the best heads on the site, most of the names could be fitted onto the list of people 9th has beaten. The sheer dominance he showed in text battles made him an instant favourite amongst the site. And during the "RV Awards Era" he practically owned the "Best Text Battle Award" winning it around 7 or 8 times. At one point he won the award 6 months in a row. He was one of the people responsible for reviving the Konquest Lyricist League and bringing back a decent active league, which more or less paved the way for future text leagues. In competition he was immense also, he champed basically every league he entered at some point. And, probably the best major text tournament in the sites history, KORV2 was champed by 9th Degree himself. He was kept from retaining his title in the third tournament of the series, by stepping down from battling and actually running the tournament. Although, that wouldn't keep him away from the Final, and he still managed in his own unique way to participate in the last round. Further down the line, and another major tournament, the 2nd Annual Tag Tournament saw 9th Degree partnering up with Mimesis. Right from the get-go they were predicted to win the tournament, and they did not fail. He was also one of the few members involved in the "Domination of '05" era on RV, when the entire year, all over the site was dominated by only a select group of battlers. After stepping down from the battle scene, 9th took to moderating and became the sole moderator of the Hip Hop Forum, and he has shown a level of quality that all moderators should appease to by keeping the forum clean and active. Overall he has been a great moderator, and he was an immense battler, and whenever he decides to battle, it doesn't matter how long he has been away.... you better watch out, or you'll catch a major beating.
