well i decided to write somethin about me bein over here in Iraq......just what really happens when adrenline and fear mix together in most cases......enjoy


some of it u might not understand so ill break down the termanoogy real quick

Apache = helicopter
Flak Vest = body armor
K-Pod = helmet
Eye Pro = short for eye protection
D-Bag = short for duffle bag


Riot control mission, whole lotta anger//
Flak vest, K-Pod, whole lotta danger//
Eye pro, M4 whole lotta strangers//
7 Magazines and a round in the chamber//
3 Frag grenades//
Knee pads, ski mask, and a D Bag stashed away//
……1 prayer before the fightin commences//
“O Heavenly Father please heighten my senses”//
“Enlight my defenses and guard every friend of me”//
“And guide these rounds to the heart of my enemy”//
“Give me the power and strength to slay them”//
“I pray to u in Jesus name……Amen”//
Loaded two 3 man teams in the trunk//
Of a machine soundin like a banshee in the dust//
Usin the eyes of 2 Apaches in the front//
Embracin my tactics and not believin in luck//
Arrive in the gritty city, the opposite pretty//
I pity any committee livin in this vicinity//
Cursed with a poverty rate of infinity//
Lackin the entity of the holy Trinity, the shyt sickening//
Looked at the ground preparin for its tombs//
From the people of a modernized America in ruins//
As the stench of corruption hits my nose//
Blood rushes to my heart, nerves clench my bones//
Bodys warm like I put my coat on//
Heart beatin, but like the Navy SEALs…..

Only one objective, seek and engage//
Ramp drops like beasts bein released from its cage//
War cries echo from the three man teams//
12 boots trample the earth like a Stampede//
Rally pointed reached, but the crowd gets calmer//
Silence then out walks a suicide bomber//
6 weapons raise and the crowd dispersed//
Two options for demise semi or burst//
Hes one step away, from feelin the wrath of a bullet//
Brain tells trigger finger... “pull it”//
Eyes gettin bigger, my eyes on the figure//
Thru my front sight, slight pressure applied to the trigger//
…..The bolt action receives the command//
From the trigger squeeze, yes it receives but it jams//
False alarm, scratch that, click clack//
Still aimin NW of his six pack//
Response recieved from the bolt mechanism//
In a split second, driven//
Forward, like a space shuttle lift off, u can expect ignition//
From the round, no time to get the hell out like exorcism//
Shell extracted, sudden explosion, the rounds emotion//
Ready to split u, its the round of Moses//
Its tip like an arrow, guided thru a narrow//
Path, slidin thru the walls of the carbine barrel//
The suppressor holds its simplest flare//
Crack, as the sound waves ripple the air//
The round divorces the rifle//
Velocity so fast, its like the tower u cant get an Eiffel//
……Trajectory travels thru still wind//
Rips thru the air pressure assumin a drill spin//
Impacts the flesh once it slaps his chest//
Hands over his heart like hes tryin to catch his breath//
Heat released from the wound hes bleedin from//
Eyes slowly close till he no longer sees the sun//
The deed is done, the mind of a warrior thinks//
And at that time the eyes of a Warrior blink…….//

wow that was sick loved the wordplay loved the metaphores fam good shit nice read and it flowed together pretty good some parts were choppy id have to hear this on audio to give ya a full 10/10 but 9 aint bad in my book at all

nice fam...i dont think ive seen a more thorough approach to
this topic, the depth you went into was dope.you keep a pretty
decent flow throughout, and your story was very well done,
meaning it kept me interested and was easy to follow, the
prayer was a nice touch, and there were a lot of good sections
heres two of my favs...





and there was more, the emotion was fire in places,
as was the imagery, good word choice and a real fresh
angle to the topic imo, prolly due to the fact you know
so much about it...as you are livin it, which is why im
gonna cut this short cos i could say more, but seems
like you got enuff on ya mind...so stay up fam, stay safe
and keep writing...you just proved its a good way to
vent and relax, which is the best part of this piece
