Is HD a gimmick?

Don't get me wrong...I love the clarity of HD...

But, if they air some programs in HD, why can't they air all of them in HD?

Comcast charges more for an HD tuner and for HD channels. Then, other channels are SD (standard definition).


I'm starting to think this is a rip off.

OMG!

I just think they're capitalizing on this like they do any and everything new. I know for damn well they could produce HD quality and have EVERYTHING look like it without a premium price.
