Praying to statues of beasts n man

"Sacrifice!" they cry to sinners present
He died for their wrong, slow and unsure
They repent to thieves of innocent bliss
Whilst the good turn blind to see false light

Existence sinks into the sands of time
As Guya* rots, laughing in bitter-sweet pain
People wield strength upon hollow ground
Feats of greatness met with horrors of faith..

"Die in name of.." preaches a bearded scholar
Hate breeding ignorance, ignorance unto hate..
Martyrdom achieved, to burning circle's growth
As heaven slowly fades into rivers of blood**

*Guya - it's roughly the belief that 'God' is Earth in a sense. And Guya is what 'God' is called of this Earth. And that every planet has it's own God.
