Please, this is something that means a lot to me. I just wrote it because I came home and found a box on my table waiting for me. I would very much appreciate feedback. Thank you. This is about 2 really important ppl in my life, however one of them passed away almost 3 months ago who meant everything to me.



A gift that could mean so much, yet causes pain…
Its every girls dream to receive this…
But this wasn’t exactly the way you want it to go…
A gift of love, yet given at a time of sorrow…

Finding a box sitting on the table waiting for you…
What could it be?…
Who could it be from?…
The anticipation of wanting to know overloads…

You open the box and find it dazzling…
A diamond ring…
A note enclosed on why you received it…
A note that can make you go into tears…

“This ring is for you…
He meant to give this to you…
But he cant now because he’s gone…
He loved you dearly and always will…

Instead he sends a message…

"Love your true love…
Think of this ring as not from me…
But from both of us, me and him…
The two men who love you more than anything in the universe…
I love you dearly, and so does he...
In some ways more...
Keep it close and dont let it go"...

I still yearn to know who that true love is...
He died almost 3 months ago…
I still love him to this day…
That true love he spoke of still stands…
More than once that love has kept me alive…
To that, I owe everything…

Im putting my life back together from a couple of days ago…
A day that I wont be able to forget for a long time…
That massive amount of pain…
Yet that amount of love that keeps me going each day…

Now I wear that ring...
And I wear it with pride...
And always will...

wow.. good emotion in this. that was the only part of this poem that anyone can focus on. WAS the Emotion. It was just ill and you could feel it like.. dripping.. from every word of this poem. Very nice drop. MaDD reSpECT

This was very deep hun. Emotion was concentrated on and thats all that matters. When you lose someone it sucks but when there is someone there to love you and help you through shit it's the best. To have someone like that is an honor. Keep your head up, speak what you feel, and never let your love get away. Much repsect JT

i like this, you put emotion into this, and this is something that i like, and admire, some peeps think they put emotion into the poems, but a lot of em just like to pull the wool over peoples eyes.
i hope im not wrong about this, much love, no hate.

Thanks VERY much for all of your feedback. Emotion was a big part of this. I love those two dearly, and I dont think that there is anything that could change that. Double, ur not wrong, you are completely right. JT, thanks babe, ya kno wut i got goin and I'm happy I got it. Just need to get my "broken-glass-life" back together. Thanks for everything ppl. death doesnt take no for an answer, and always takes more than we wanted it to. our hope is though that we may see them agian one day.......the emotion of this was phenominal, but the words in the letter really reach out and touch your heart like nothin else. wear that ring forever, forget him never and one day you'll see him again....prayers much love to ya- peace-
