since tonight we are all on some good topics instead of the usual bullshit. I got another question. that I think about sometimes.
How powerfull do u think our brain could posibly be. It is proven we only use a certain amount of our brain. Actually it's a very small amount of it. What if we could use all of it. Do u think that psychics (pardon if i spelled it wrong). use a different part of it. do u believe in them. Do u ever get the feeling of something and it happens. Just wanted peoples take on this topic.

we only us approximentaly 10% of our brains if we we're too use more, I often wonder what would happen but I think we can only 'use' a certain amount, because certain parts are designated for different things some things are involuntary and other functions we have to activate so Im not sure how we could activate those portions that are 'unused' Drugs and other thing change our perceptions but thats due to less use and not more, so although its changing our outlook, its the power of the drugs and not our minds that being used to give our new capabilities *stops rambling for now* lol good topic |

anyway we only use this amount because the rest is unneeded i researched this topic for my research speech i had to do... anyway these are some of the things we could do using more of our brain... telepathic comunication...speaking without words psychic type abilities...yup future telling blah absolute memory...never foget anything which isnt exactly all good ability to withstand pain...that is unsermountable mounts of pain strength increases...sometimes when people are in danger and or scared or angry they can display certain amounts of strength uncharacteristic to their usual abilities there are some more but i cant remember them at the moment |

I think the evolution of mankind has caused our inablity to tap into the other 90% of the brains resorce. Over our history we have innovated news way to ease our everyday mental task load. Our senses have changed, we no longer need to use chikens or day break as a reminder to wake up in time for things. We designed alarm clock, one more thing less for our grey matter to process. Our instincs have been dwendeled away much like those of domisticated animals, who could no longer survive on thier own in the wild, after a life of domestication. We have evolved as a people, and it is my opinion that our cranial resources have tracked, inversersly proportional to our evolution. The more we relie on injstuments and gadgets the less we have to process in our minds. In the begining man's only defense was his brain, now that our genius has built around us defense mechanisms, and mental processing aids, such as computers calculators and so on, we have less of a need to acces those areas of our minds. There also less pressure on the indiviual to develope sharp wit, intellect and mental focus, since there are so many of us. We live and thrive now, but in the older times, each person had to base his or her survial on themself, no secuirity blanket of the whole. People had to learn more, train harder, work harder and use more just to survive each and every day. Tody our generations can relax, vegitateand just goof off as much as the indiviual pleases. Sure you may be poor or left behind, but you will still survive. So there is no real pressure on people now day,s so it's easy to lose mental focus and clarity in that process, so it's also can be said that we too lose portions of our brains not often used.

our brains are dope. i was watching a show on monks where they go out into below zero tempetures soaking wet in a wet towel that was in ice water and they lay down and they think about being warm and eventualy they warm up do much they dry the towels and they feel like they where just taken out of a dryer. and the monks are also warm.
i wish i could do shit like that. i wish i was a monk period. they are dope |
