When most people think of Christmas, they picture a joyous holiday when snow envelops the trees and ground while their families lovingly exchange gifts around a beautiful fire. Some individuals possess a brilliant closeness with Christian faith, which allows them to see the true meaning of the holiday (Jesus’ day of birth). Yet others view Christmas as just another day, another day filled with anger, hate, abuse and depression…

He noncholantly chuckled.....It developed into a laugh
before he realized he had nowhere to go but the tracks
He sighed and walked fast...his mom died when he was 10....
...so he didnt worry about the cracks
All damage was done in the past, daily life's nothing but a relapse
With all possesions on his person he found a place to call his own
He fired up a cigarette...its warmth burnt out a he felt the cold
Questioning God;he prayed for a hold, a grip but no answer ws found
Listened for a revelation, but only trains made a sound
Everytime the chime rang into the air, he'd call for help
Day and nightmares occured, the voices in his head defined his self
Every train spoke to him..he heard demands 'CHOOOSE CHOOOSE'
Why should I get out of the winter of my discontent when I was born to lose?
Suddenly he got a surge....gathered his courage and ran away from his home ITS
Up the awning and onto the platform of the locomotive
Hopped the grate post haste and stood directly on the rails
Yelled out a last reply to be left alone....spared no details
I deserve a second chance, my plans didnt go as designed!

as he had his first......silent night

you came ight.. did pretty well i thought. Just some of the
lines in your piece seemed forced out there.. n' i didn't
grasp real well onto the whole concept which might affect
my vote, but none the less, you were decent.. just keep
elevating topically

it was the concept n' the effort you put forth in this that
really made me get into your piece.. you have the same
type of style in every piece and sometimes they work and
sometimes they dont.. here it did. Really nice. i mean the
topic wasn't all that original but you handled it nicely throughout

Yeah i agree this was a good topical battel here..Maddawg i really like how you wrote your piece, i liked the story telling in it, your mutlies were nice through out it, you had good flow...Walt i liked your piece as well, you had good vocab, your concept i didnt really feel as much as Maddawgs though....but both of you came good...but Maddawg gets my vote because i think he did the topic better overall.

good battle i think mad took this, he had a lot of detail and good expressions very well written and creative enjoyed the read ans the story

WW had a good story but i felt it wasnt as good, he had some good wordplay ans creative lines nice detail but not as indepth as Mad
