Nas 3 Albums In 2004?

IP:

Found this jus wana know wetha ya think its true or not

Just when you thought God's Son's work was finished and he was going to take a breather, the nasty one is back, and this time "he's pissed".

"Rappers have been [messing] up the game since my last album, wack lyrics, wack beats, and the labels just keep putting it out," Nas said. "My mans [Bravehearts] have been hustlin from day one tryin to get they stuff out there and now [Sony] won't even lift a finger to help,"

That's why the famous East Coast rapper is taking upon himself to, as he puts it ,"fix the game". Before the years end, Nas plans to release a ten track LP (a la his debut Illmatic), tentatively titled "Nasir", featuring no other rappers, not even long time collaborator AZ or the Bravehearts. Even more surprising Nas plans to produce the entire album himself, a feat unheard of in the rap industry.

"This is my shit. Me. I don't think dudes have ever got to hear just Nas. All my other stuff had other people, either producing, rapping or just, you know, influencing me. I'm doin this whole album, lyrics, beats and everything... I'm gonna give it back to the world pure and simple, no watered down nothin. No one gonna be in the studio with me, not my brother [Jungle], not [manager] Steve, not even Escobar. Jus Nasir."

In the past Nas has tried his hand at beat making (One Mic, Get Down) but only with the guidance of seasoned producer veterans. Nas however is unfazed, saying he's been practicing for years.

"What a lot of people don't know is, I've been producing longer than I was rappin. Growing up I wanted to be a DJ but we was too poor to afford muthafuckin' turn tables so I started rhyming. But I got mad beats no one's ever heard."

In addition to "Nasir", Nas says he's been working on the "Lost Tapes 2", (the sequel to last year's fan favorite), a whole other new studio album for April (way before "Nasir" drops) & also writing a new, as of yet, untitled book.

3 albums, 1 book....2004 baby, the great street poet Nasir Jones is about to take the meaning of "rap musician" to the next level.
