That reminds me of Ken Griffy Jr. Baseball for N64. My brother and his friend were playing, and it was the bottom of the 9th, 2 outs and a tie ballgame. His friend hit a pop fly that my brother was surely gonna catch...until the guy running from first to second bumped into him and made him fuck up the grab. Meanwhile, the runner on 3rd went home and scored the winning run. This pissed my brother off so much, that he threw the controller so hard he pulled a muscle. It was my goddamn controller too.
