we first met at 14, remember that day i thought i lost my hat,
i wore my heart on my sleeve as i gave you the shirt off my back,
you deserved that, first girl i met that had it for real,

now im not gonna claim that h,ours were perfect,
but at times i felt the cost was well worth it,
