underground is better because they havent got the media or their fans to worry about they do it forthemsleves but when the underground artists go to mainstream then they turn out how the other underground artists went when they went into mainstream becuz of the meida and the public so id say its best to stay underground and i like the underground music better its more hardcore n shit...

some r betta underground, some betta mainstream

not all of mainstream sucks...em and nas are mainstream so dont forget them and they drop hot shit (even tho em is fallin off now)

but i prefer underground i like the less then perfect quality and lyrics...

It seems the only good things about mainstream are the beats. Beat makers or at least the good ones seem to be drawn to the mainstream industry. It's a shame cuz with mainstream's wack ass lyrics, the beats are wasted. Underground is leaps and bounds better, but I still listen to people like NaS cuz although he made it, he's stayin somewhat underground in his style.
