I play drums in a rock band, and guitar on the side. Trust me man, learning how to play an instrument and perform smoothly, while singing and shit is a lot more difficult than writting a few rhymes and spitting them. I understand that their is a lot of talent within freestyling and producing. But if producing is used as a point for rap, it could also be used for rock. Freestyling is really the only talent in rap. Rap is turning more wack as it comes. If you ask people what they think about rap, they think of things like G-Unit and all that shit right away... it's really going down. Mainstream is fucking wack. Anyways...Rock fucking owns Rap, sounds better too.

and btw..... the ONLY reason i respect rock is the playing ur own music part... because most rock songs have less words in a whole song than one verse of a Talib song, and not as dope lyrically as his shit..... and even than rock has gotten less and less about actual skill, most talent ive heard sucks nowadays, especially the drummers.... while lyrics by artists are gettin better and better (atleast for the ones i listen to), and the production now is really making songs better....
