im having a massive problem with my cool edit and need help!!!!

i go to open my beat to but in cool edit then this pops up(RAW DATA THING)....



so then i click ok then this happens....



and then i click play and it makes a stupid noise then stop!!!

any help????

one of many reasons why u need tp up-grade to adobe audition instead of cool edit... ive NEVER seen this problem before though so i honestly cudnt help.. just find adobe audition, much better and more stable n reliable

well i dont have that at the moment so i need help with this!!!!!

its the track your trying to open mayne..because i seen the file name on your pic.It ends in .m3u

so basically it isnt a file name that cool edit recognises!

wered you get the track.Ive had this problem before when trying to play a saved stream....which i think your doin..try converting the sonf file to mp3...

if not,then maybe you are missing some certain audio codecs...but i reckon its because of the file type that your tryna play....

im guessing you've right clicked on a soundclick songs hi-fi...pressed save as..and then tried opening it in cool edit?

Would i be correct?

lol... qwhen u want to open a beat... go into mukltietrack mode... then go to insert... audio from file and then bobs your uncle..

that that dont work then i dun have a clue mate
