Today my soul was coloured black with grief/
Coloured a misty cloud like a deep ocean coral reef/
A dark, solemn colour...one to mirror my thoughts/
Thoughts that can only be connected by slashing the dots/
Tired and weary, my soul is aching from stress/
Sad as it is and slowly getting more depressed/
And as I'm sitting here talking about colour, I'm sickened/
Trying to clear the smoke and the emotion has thickened/
Oh the colours, so bright and beautiful in hue/
While I'm quickly dying inside, unlike the rest of you/
I'm trying to keep my composure, but i'm feeling the strain though/
Rip my spirit to pieces and place all my colours in the rainbow/
