CALIPH
Like nite stars in the skys depth the spheres of light penatrate my shadows
Casting a soft glow accross my soul as it struggles to stand in the battle
The jagged cracked lines are the paths of my lifes trails and directions a harsh reflection of my tribulations.
Picking up the fallen shards of my life
like small blades only my blood remains in thier placement
My blood splatters in shapes of those ive hurt
and they wither and scream at me with hatred
Like molten wax my frame falls into a puddle
of despair melted accross the surface
A pond of forgotten dreams failed schemes and a sense
of never finding my purpose
Yet i inhale the posion and my lungs are bagpipes
that the devil plays as his instruments
And as i slowly die inside the thing that kills me
slow gives me a sense of invincableness
The mirror like a portal to alternate realms
Cuz i look fine but inside im in a personal hell
Glass falls and shatters and again i struggle
to collect the fragments of luminent shards
But im only left with deeper wounds as more blood slowly flows from my scars
With a single piece intact i stare at my distored image like a fading poltergist
So with no pen i squeeze the blood from my hand and I slowly write............................................. .............................................
