no. can tell by build quality. round lines look jagged, linear stitches are wider one place than it is others, etc. but on your foot who the hell is gonna recognize any of that?
if you really want to know for sure though ask them to take a picture of the insole. these 21s have a removable bubble in the heel. if you dont see it (and its obvious) or he's reluctant to take the picture, you know the deal
